Summary

Position Objective The Contracts Administrator IV will work in support of the Contracts Manager to administer all contracts for the business unit. Primary Responsibilities * Responsible for managing primarily DoD contracts (e.g. FFP, CPFF/CPIF), negotiating contract terms and conditions, and collaboration with internal departments. Assigned contracts may include the administration of large, long-term commercial and/or Engineering Service in support customer requirements contracts * Review and prepare summary of request for proposals, solicitations and potential or existing contracts to provide management and the performing organizations with proper interpretation of contract requirements and specifications. * Lead and support proposal activities such as performing financial and business risk analyses, developing/coordinating risk mitigation strategies, drafting terms and conditions, supporting proposal pricing strategy, ensuring compliance with solicitations * Process Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, and other business arrangements as needed. * Ensure company commitments are met in accordance with company policies, legal requirements (FAR/DFAR) and customer specifications. * Advise management of contractual rights, obligations and issues as they arise; and act as the primary interface with customer contracting officials. * Managing the contract database and all associated files as well as contract compliance to maximize efficiency, cost savings and reduce liability exposure. * Review modifications, extensions and contract closeout documents. * Monitor performance and make recommendations for improvement when appropriate. * Prepare and distribute reports and statistical data to facilitate planning and maintenance of accurate contract records and files. * Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding strategies, practices and procedures. * Participate in and provide support for assigned corporate initiatives. * All other duties as assigned. Required Education and Experience * 4-year degree from an accredited university in Contracts Administration, Business Management or related field * A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in government contracts, sales support and/or contracts administration. Required Qualifications * Proficient in contract development, contract standards and language. * Effective communication skills both written and oral with both internal and external contacts. * Computer literate in Microsoft Office Suite of programs such as Word, Excel, Access and Power Point, HTE, Adobe Acrobat Professional and other electronic document management systems. * Must possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, detail orientated and have strong organizational and time management skills. * Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
