Position: Contract Manager

Department: Infrastructure Planning and Development

Job Description

You will be working with Head (Infrastructure Planning & Development) on all matters pertaining to project budgetary estimates, tenders to appoint contractors, and contracts and project management.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the construction contracts of building and infrastructure projects from award until final accounts;
• Drive the tenders for the appointment of contractors in building and infrastructure projects;
• Lead the procurement of furniture and equipment and ensure timely deliveries;
• Project management of minor renovation works within the campus from conceptualization till completion; and
• Perform any other duties assigned to the Department.

Educational And Professional Requirements

• Recognised degree in Quantity Surveyor, Engineering, Construction/Building Management, or equivalent
• At least 15 years of proven working experience in building/infrastructure construction contract management
• Experience in healthcare sector and/or facilities management (maintenance) and/or Mechanical & Electrical engineering know-how will be an advantage
