Job Title: Contracts Analyst

Location: Austin, TX

Duration: 12 Months contract with possible Extension

Pay Rate: $70-$75.00/hour DOE

Summary

This contractor role at an American multinational corporation and technology company involves advanced knowledge of contractual terms and working closely with legal and cross-functional teams to support the negotiation and management of commercial sales contracts. Responsibilities include reviewing, refining, and supporting agreements across multiple sales channels, while maintaining consistency with standardized processes and templates. The ideal candidate must have strong communication, analytical, and drafting skills, along with experience in global commercial agreements.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with counsel, contracts managers, and various stakeholders to develop, update and/or support the negotiation of commercial sales contracts across several routes-to-market.
• Assist with template approval and management process.
• Support a consistent and rigorous approach to contracts based on standardized language, templates, processes and contract lifecycle automation.
• Respond to a broad range of requests for contract/template development support and education support.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial sales agreements.
• A demonstrated understanding and strong working knowledge of applicable commercial legal principles.
• The ability to frame, draft and negotiate agreements.
• Project management skills, including presenting and delivering on project objectives, timelines, milestones and updates.
