Contract Business Controller (On-Site) | Immediate Need | Short-Term Assignment)

Contract Rate: $65 – 75 hour.

On-site I Auburn Hills, MI

We’re looking for a skilled Contract Controller to step in and provide immediate financial leadership to the day-to-day during a critical period. This on-site role requires someone who can work closely with plant teams, jump into complex accounting scenarios, and bring clarity and control to the numbers.

Your Role Will Include:

• Leading budgeting and forecasting across multiple plant locations
• Performing in-depth variance analysis and operational cost reviews
• Managing month-end close, account reconciliations, and reporting packages
• Supporting plant operations with accurate, real-time financial data and KPIs
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls and SOX guidelines
• Overseeing capital expenditure tracking, fixed assets, and lease management
• Partnering with Operations, Engineering, and Business Development for ongoing financial support
• Driving corrective action on accounting discrepancies and process inefficiencies

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proven success in a hands-on, operational finance role (preferably in warehousing or manufacturing)
• Strong working knowledge of SAP, BPC, and Excel
• Ability to travel to multiple plant locations as needed
• A proactive mindset, sharp analytical skills, and a collaborative approach
