Position Overview

The Contract Administrator Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the administration of contracts in accordance with Contract standards, ensuring contractual compliance, and managing contractual relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret construction contracts
• Draft, review, and respond to contractual correspondence
• Process variations, claims, and change orders according to contractual provisions
• Lead negotiations for contract modifications and dispute resolution
• Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with terms and conditions
• Assess and authorize contractor payment applications
• Provide guidance on contractual matters to project teams
• Maintain comprehensive contract documentation and records

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field
• Minimum seven (7) years of experience in contract administration for large-scale construction projects
• Knowledge of FIDIC contract standards and practices is advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Adaptability to fulfill Change Management or Invoicing Engineer roles when required
• Proven experience in mega construction projects
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Ability to work in a multinational environment
• Competence in Microsoft Office suite and relevant specialized software
• Willingness to travel as required for project needs
• Commitment to professional development and keeping current with industry standards
• Working under the direction of and reporting directly to the Site Contracts Manager
