Position Overview
As a Continuous Improvement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in transforming operations through lean methodology and innovative problem-solving. This position offers the opportunity to lead impactful projects, drive process efficiency, and implement cutting-edge tools like Tableau and SAP Business Analytics to deliver measurable improvements in Safety, Quality, Service, and Cost. What you'll do
* Execute and enhance the "Hunter Douglas Lean Management System" to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
* Lead Kaizen events and cross-functional improvement projects, utilizing lean manufacturing principles such as value stream mapping, 5S, and root cause problem-solving.
* Manage data analysis programs and tools, including SAP Business Analytics, Tableau, and Power BI, to track trends and provide insights for quality improvement and error reduction.
* Mentor associates in lean tools and methodologies, fostering knowledge transfer and creating a culture of continuous improvement across all levels of the organization.
* Collaborate with plant management and other lean leaders to identify process improvement opportunities, implement solutions, and standardize best practices.
* Lead Root Cause Corrective Measures (RCCM) and quality improvement initiatives, coordinating with operations, engineering, and support teams to ensure consistent product quality.
* Develop and manage employee engagement programs to motivate participation in continuous improvement activities and foster collaboration across departments.
* Monitor and implement corrective actions for internal and external quality issues, participating in Rapid Response and DMAIC teams to drive measurable improvements.

Who you are
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related degree/diploma preferred.
* Six Sigma Certification (Green or Black Belt) preferred.
* 5-7 years of experience in a continuous improvement function.
* Minimum 2 years' experience working with Tableau & SAP BI or related data analysis software.
* Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Process Mapping, Value-add / Non-Value-add, Standard Work, Line Balancing, 7 Wastes, hour-by-hour management, gap management, etc.
* Experience leading/facilitating multiple kaizen events/programs and/or key participant role in a large plant lean transformation initiative.
* Working knowledge of control and quality systems.
* Strong analytical and interpersonal skills along with superior computer skills, i.e. SAP, BW, Excel, Word, PPTX, Minitab, Tableau (or other statistical software).
* Excellent communication and teaching skills, with a strong ability to rally employees and teams.
* Proven ability to adapt and manage effectively in a changing environment.
* Ability to effectively handle multiple projects with track record of successful project complete.
