Job Description
To strengthen our Passenger Experience Department, we are looking for a Baggage Development Manager (M/F/X) for the Baggage Department.
As Baggage Development Manager within baggage handling, you play a crucial role in optimising processes at the airport. You will analyse bottlenecks, lead improvement processes and ensure that the Lean Six Sigma methodology is applied to increase efficiency, safety and customer satisfaction.
Tasks
Implementation of operational improvement initiatives:
- Implement improvement initiatives and weigh up their need and added value
- Analysing operational data (e.g. lead times, error rates, breakdowns) to reveal bottlenecks.
- Coaching departments on continuous improvement.
- Preparing business cases and reporting achieved results to management.
- Acting as a bridge between the floor and strategic decision-making.
- Standardising and documenting processes for structural improvements.
- Implementing the business strategy in the bag process flow
- Implement continuous improvement tools (e.g. A3,...)
External stakeholder management:
- Keep dialogue open with all stakeholders involved in the end-to-end bag flow
- Communicate bag data and performance analyses and provide insight to all external stakeholders involved in bag processes
