Position Title: Continuing Education Coordinator
Department: Continuing Education
Location: Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver
Status: Contract – 6 months (Hybrid)
Day in the life of:
With the Mutual Fund Dealer (MFD) Continuing Education (CE) Program’s cycle coming to an end, the Continuing Education Coordinator will provide administrative support in the critical activities and support with inquiries, while assisting with the Investment Dealer (ID) CE program as needed.
Core Responsibilities:
Provides administrative support for the CE programs, including
- Data entry of records on the CE tracking system
- Maintaining inquiry log
- Responding to internal and external email inquiries
- Supporting email communications and reports in Excel and our CE database
Education/Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative or customer service role
- Post-Secondary education (University Degree or College Diploma) is an asset
- Knowledge of the financial services industry is an asset
- French language proficiency is considered an asset
Key Skills and Competencies: - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where handling and prioritizing tasks is key
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, MS SharePoint, and electronic communication platforms such as Webex and MS Teams
- Ability to work proactively and independently, in order to prioritize and complete tasks within established service timelines
