Job Description:

As a Content Writer (Intern), you will play a crucial role in developing and publishing engaging content for our social media platforms, writing news articles and blog posts on current events and magazine topics, and maintaining a consistent brand voice and style across all content.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and publish engaging social media content for various platforms (e.g., Facebook, X, Instagram)

- Write news articles and blog posts on current events and magazine topics

- Maintain a consistent brand voice and style across all content

- Research and identify trending topics and stories relevant to our audience

- Collaborate with editors and other content creators to ensure quality and timely content delivery

- Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and best practices

Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site internship for a Content Writer at Sannasa. You will be responsible for day to day content creation, research, writing, and proofreading tasks. Your work will contribute to creating engaging and effective content for our audience.

Qualifications:

• Strong skills in News Writing, Social Media Content Writing, Web Content Writing, Writing, and Proofreading in both Sinhala and English
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Sinhala and English
• Translation skills are crucial to this role.
• Creativity and an ability to think outside the box
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Ability to handle customers/clients is a plus
• Currently pursuing a diploma/degree is a plus
