Summary

Who are we and what do we do?

Quicko is a Zerodha-backed startup and one of India’s fastest growing tax platforms. We enable individuals and businesses in India to save, pay, and file their taxes, with the help of our user-friendly products.

We are a young fast-moving team of designers, developers, marketers & finance folks who are on a mission to simplify taxes for all. With our business scaling up, we continue to build a culture that emphasizes on growth and development of each individual through well-designed internship programs, jam sessions, mentorships, and much more.

Currently, we are growing our team, right here from Ahmedabad. If you are someone, who is a big believer of technology in finance and is open to taking up new challenges, we would love to have a conversation with you.

Who are we looking for?

A versatile writer who can adapt like a chameleon — across brand personalities, tones, and content formats. Someone who’s just as excited about explaining “What is inflation?” in a blog, as they are about writing an engaging script for a reel.

You don’t need to be a finance expert — but if you’re the kind of person who enjoys turning complex stuff into stories people actually want to hear, we’d love to talk.

What you’ll be doing?

  • Understand each of our content properties including Quicko, Pocket Money and Tax Q&A and create content that aligns with them.
  • Write for different formats — video scripts, static posts, emailers, blogs, product copy and website.
  • Research deeply on personal finance and tax topics and turn them into stories that are clear, human, and relatable.
  • Bring fresh, contextual ideas to our content — whether it’s spotting trends, drafting newsletter hooks, or writing that perfect CTA.
  • Work with content strategists and designers to build editorial calendars and campaign plans.
  • Track what’s working, what’s not, and where we can improve or iterate.

Requirements

What will you need to succeed at Quicko?

  • You understand how different brands speak, and can switch tones accordingly.
  • You can take a boring or complex topic and turn it into something that sparks attention and makes people care.
  • You’ve written for multiple formats (not just long-form blogs), and enjoy the challenge of keeping things short and punchy when needed.
  • You’re active on social media and know what works where — be it reels, carousels, or tweet threads.
  • You have basic SEO know-how — and can write for humans and search engines.
  • Fluent in both English and Hindi.
  • You’re organized, meet deadlines, and are always up for learning something new.
