Summary

Responsibilities:

  • Daily program management throughout the program life cycle
  • Defining the program governance (controls)
  • Planning the overall program and monitoring the progress
  • Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measures
  • Coordinating the projects and their interdependence
  • Managing and utilizing resources across projects
  • Managing stakeholders’ communication
  • Aligning the deliverables (outputs) to the program’s “outcome”
  • Managing the main program documentation
  • Use empowerment, trust and other strategies as appropriate to develop and motivate team members
  • Communicate expectations, assignments and responsibilities clearly and professionally


Skills:

  • Good knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques
  • Good understanding of the wider objectives of the program
  • Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in program management
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
  • The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Proven ability to take initiative, adapt quickly to changing priorities, work with a high sense of urgency and build strong, productive relationships
  • Ability to build strong relationships and positively influence clients and team members
  • Ability to accurately and articulately document information
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams; share responsibility for results, provide and accept feedback


Experience:

  • At least two years of relevant technical experience
  • Demonstrated background in solving complex customer problems
  • Team leadership experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated experience in content creation or quality assurance
  • Bachelor's degree
