About the role A Content Manager has the ability to manage and monitor large virtual teams and also has the skills to create well written, high-quality content. Knowledge and experience in link building is a plus. Duties and Responsibilities: Manage a diverse writing team of 30+ staff, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure team cohesion and productivity. Facilitate the resolution of questions, concerns, or feedback from team members and content reviews. Ensure adherence to style guides, client briefs, and publisher instructions by reviewing writer work and providing guidance to keep content in line with guidelines. Conduct spot checks and reviews of content based on editor feedback or client/publisher requests to identify areas for improvement and provide constructive feedback to writers. Monitor and ensure writers meet minimum Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) per week. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. Minimum of three years of management experience, preferably in a content creation or publishing environment. Willingness to become familiar with different style manuals to ensure compliance with client and publisher requirements. Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Teams for communication, collaboration, and document management. Ability to work independently and manage tasks without direct supervision. Experience in setting up and managing virtual team events, such as monthly team lunches, to foster team bonding and morale.
