This role is subject to a flexible hybrid work arrangement requiring a minimum of 1-2 pre-determined days per week in our mid-town office.
Summary
The Content Management Associate is responsible for day to day web site content management for the TCTMD web site. The position will focus primarily on developing and packaging compelling editorial and clinical content for TCTMD. S/he will work with all available resources including internal staff and external vendors to assure constant updates are performed to the website. S/he will create and maintain fresh content for the web site and remove all dated content as necessary.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Maintain web site operations assuring the web site is functioning on the world wide web at appropriate speed and access with minimal to no unscheduled down time.
Develops editorial calendars and manages content gathering/editing/approval/posting.
Works with Content Manager to develop, post and publish content in a timely fashion.
Works with writers and editors to post news articles in a timely fashion.
Reviews content as it is received and edits content for appropriateness.
Uploads content into the Drupal-based Content Management System (CMS) including assigning metadata, scheduling permissions and tags.
Works with clients and prospective clients to develop and manage content from new programs and sponsorship opportunities.
Integrates self into team environment comprised of marketing professionals, copy writers, editors, graphics and other writing and meetings professionals.
Prioritizes information that needs immediate attention in a busy web site environment.
Maintains strong understanding of site architecture and infrastructure including CMS applications and limitations.
Tracks and reports relevant site analytics for TCTMD content using Google Analytics.
Maintains and posts content to social media channels, including but not limited to Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook.
Ensures content from conferences, including videos, PPT/PDFs and news, is posted in a timely manner and supports the user experience.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum of 1-2 years of online content management, marketing or development. Medical communications or pharmaceutical ad agency experience is a plus.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and all web browser platforms.
Experience working with Photoshop a plus.
Working knowledge of HTML or CSS.
Experience working with Content Management systems. Open-source web content management platforms such as Drupal or WordPress a plus.
Demonstrated ability to achieve results working with multiple teams.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information effectively to groups.
Solid analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
Must possess excellent communication skills, patience, professionalism and ability to effectively interact with staff and management alike.
Ability to verbally communicate effectively with CRF staff, physicians, senior managers and their assistants, vendors, industry professionals and event attendees.
Ability to communicate effectively when writing e-mail, reports, and letters.
Ability to read and interpret CRF policies and memos.
Strong focus on accuracy, attention to detail and organization.
Must be able to prioritize, and possess excellent communication skills, an assertive personality, and ability to multi-task in a fast paced and, at times, noisy environment.
Must be willing to learn subject matter.

Compensation
The hiring range for this position is $62,000 - $70,000 per year. The annual salary that will ultimately be offered to the successful candidate will depend on job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience.
