As the core of the company, the Inside Sales/Content Developer (“SCD”) is responsible for sourcing and generating content for the publications. This means researching various companies throughout Canada and the United States, selecting those with interesting stories and/or projects and then reaching out to have a conversation with the company’s President/CEO (our clients). The SCD is expected to build relationships and rapport with clients, diving into what excites them and what makes their business successful, i.e. projects (past/current/future), their team, company history, where the company is heading, and so forth. Inside Sales/Content Developer Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to): Online research, sourcing companies to potentially feature in one of the publications Cold calling companies and speaking with the key decision makers Building relationships with clients Taking detailed notes during calls, and inputting them into our CRM following the call Tracking activities and appointments diligently, using in-house CRM and Outlook Calendar Meeting daily/weekly/monthly targets Participating in weekly team meetings and collaborating with teammates Inside Sales/Content Developer Requirements: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills – ability to “think on your feet” Excellent active listening skills Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally Experience with cold calling Knowledge in Microsoft products, i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook University degree or college diploma would be considered an asset Please note that we will not be accepting direct communication as a form of application.
