About the role:

We’re looking for a hands-on Content Manager who lives and breathes short-form content. You’ll script, shoot, edit, and publish engaging videos that highlight OtO’s smart lawn care products and the people who use them. This isn’t a “social media manager” gig, t’s a content-first, creator-driven role made for someone who loves being in front of the camera and has a sixth sense for what’s trending.

If you’re the kind of person who sees a TikTok trend and immediately thinks, “We could totally make this our own,” we want you on the team.

What you’ll do:

• Own short-form content creation across TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts, from concept to publish
• Capture in-the-moment, scroll-stopping visuals that reflect the OtO brand in a fun, authentic, and surprising way
• Regularly shoot in our GTA office and test yard, filming products, skits, tutorials, and trend-hacks
• Travel to customer homes and install sites (up to 25%) across the U.S. and Canada to document real-life use cases
• Stay ahead of TikTok trends, memes, audio, transitions, fonts, and viral formats
• Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to align on storytelling, product features, and CTAs
• Create content that sparks joy, builds community, and drives engagement

You’re a fit if you…

• Have proven experience making short-form videos that have grown an audience (TikTok/IG/YT Shorts)
• Are confident both behind and in front of the camera, natural, fun, and ready to roll
• Edit fast and fluently using editing software like CapCut, Final Cut, Premiere, or similar tools
• Can spot trends before they go mainstream and know how to jump on them quickly
• Have a strong sense of timing, hooks, pacing, and thumb-stopping visuals
• Love testing new ideas and iterating based on performance metrics
• Are collaborative, self-starting, and thrive in a fast-moving creative environment
• Are available to travel and shoot content on-location with happy customers or in cool spots

Bonus points for having:

• Experience in consumer hardware or smart home products
• Understanding of performance creative (how content drives conversions or sales)
• Light graphic design or motion graphics skills
• Copywriting flair for writing great captions, hooks, and CTAs
