Job Title: Consumer Insights Manager

Location: India HQ (Noida)


Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Consumer Insights Manager to join our team at our India HQ. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in leading primary research initiatives and generating actionable insights about consumer behavior to drive strategic business decisions. You will be responsible for conducting both qualitative and quantitative research, focusing on understanding the needs, preferences, and behaviors of mobile consumers in India.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary Research:
  • Lead and manage primary consumer research studies, including surveys, focus groups, interviews, and ethnographic studies.
  • Conduct one-on-one consumer interviews, field visits, and consumer immersion sessions to gather in-depth insights.
  • Design, implement, and analyze qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  • Data Collection & Analysis:
  • Gather relevant data from consumers using various research techniques, ensuring that the data collected is reliable, valid, and actionable.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, marketing, sales) to understand their information needs and provide valuable consumer insights to guide their strategies.
  • Analyze and interpret consumer data, providing reports and presentations with actionable insights.
  • Secondary Research:
  • Conduct secondary research to supplement primary findings, including analysis of industry reports, market trends, and competitor insights.
  • Continuously monitor the consumer and market landscape to identify trends, shifts, and emerging opportunities for the company.
  • Collaboration & Reporting:
  • Work closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to communicate consumer insights and help them incorporate these findings into their decision-making processes.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations that convey complex insights clearly and effectively to senior leadership and key stakeholders.


Requirements:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in consumer research, with a focus on primary research (qualitative and quantitative).
  • Experience working with a research agency or consultancy is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record in managing and executing consumer insights projects, particularly in the mobile or tech industry.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of consumer behavior and research methodologies.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SPSS, Excel, Power BI, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex insights in an easily understandable way.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple research projects simultaneously.


  • Language:
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken). Proficiency in Hindi or other regional languages is a plus.
