job purpose:
The Consumer Insights manager plays a critical role representing the voice of the consumer across the fairlife enterprise As the key contact for the brand and commercial teams, this role is responsible for turning data into insights that ultimately shaping brand strategy, tactics, and marketing effectiveness. We are in search of a creative problem solver who loves wearing multiple hats and thrives in fast paced, entrepreneurial environments.
responsibilities:
- Co-create a comprehensive learning agenda with brand team to meet annual strategic objectives and own execution of insights projects throughout the year
- Lead execution of custom research projects (qual and quant), from internal business brief to external vendor search, that bring most effective research methodologies
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including category commercial, to provide forward-looking category and consumer insights that support key business initiatives
- Become the SME on data analytics, including capabilities in pulling/analyzing POS and Panel data and owning ongoing trackers
- Master ability to leverage multiple resources, primary and secondary, to tell an actionable insights-led story
skills/qualifications required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Market Research, or related field
- 5+ years' experience, preferably in food and beverage industry
- Experience with POS and consumer panel data strongly preferred (e.g., Nielsen/IRI, Numerator)
- Extensive experience leading custom qualitative and quantitative research
- Strong familiarity with analysis and presentation tools (e.g., Excel, Powerpoint, Power BI)
- Ability to manage multiple, sometimes conflicting, agendas and priorities
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with all levels of the business, both by formal and information communication
