Job Description

Exp 5-7 Yrs

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tableau Developer who is passionate about creating intuitive, visually compelling dashboards that drive data-driven decision-making. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable Tableau dashboards while ensuring data security through row-level security (RLS) and user access controls. This role requires a deep understanding of data visualization best practices, data modelling, and experience in building enterprise-level Tableau solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-quality, interactive Tableau dashboards that deliver clear, actionable insights to business users.
• Ability to understand and Implement robust row-level security (RLS) and permissions to ensure users access only the data they are authorized to see.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product and business stakeholders
• Optimize dashboard performance through best practices in data modelling, extracts, and visualization techniques.
• Maintain and enhance existing Tableau dashboards, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and consistency.
• Document processes, design decisions, and standards to ensure alignment across teams.
• Stay up-to-date with Tableau’s latest features and recommend new capabilities to improve the user experience.
  
  

Key Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience developing Tableau dashboards in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven expertise in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud, including publishing workbooks, data source management, and setting user permissions.
• Strong experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) in Tableau, with an understanding of best practices for user permissions and data governance.
• Deep understanding of data visualization principles and UX/UI design, with the ability to simplify complex data into clear, insightful visuals.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases (e.g., Snowflake)
• Experience working with large datasets and optimizing dashboard performance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in industries such as sustainability, economics, or finance is a plus.
• Familiarity with data security and compliance frameworks.
• Tableau certification (e.g., Tableau Desktop Certified Professional).
