Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Consultant with 6+ years of proven expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) as a Technical Developer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of SAP MDG solutions. This role requires a strong technical background in ABAP development, data modeling, workflow configuration, and a deep understanding of master data management principles. The consultant will work in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote work with on-site collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement SAP MDG solutions, including data modeling, UI customization, workflow configuration, and data replication.
• Perform ABAP development for SAP MDG customizations, enhancements, and integrations.
• Configure and customize SAP MDG standard functionalities to meet specific business requirements.
• Develop and maintain data quality rules and validations within SAP MDG.
• Design and implement data replication processes between SAP MDG and other systems.
• Create technical specifications and documentation for SAP MDG solutions.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP MDG issues.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Stay current with SAP MDG best practices, new functionalities, and technological advancements.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP MDG Technical Developer.
• Strong ABAP development skills, including experience with ABAP Workbench, ABAP Objects, and BADIs/User Exits.
• Solid understanding of SAP MDG data modeling concepts and configuration.
• Experience in configuring and customizing SAP MDG workflows.
• Proficiency in SQL and database concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.

• Experience with SAP MDG implementations in S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of SAP MDG integration technologies (e.g., ALE, IDoc, Web Services).
• Experience with data quality tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with Agile project methodologies.
