Strategy and Consultancy

We provide comprehensive planning, pre-development, and feasibility advice to domestic and global developers, stakeholders, and funding institutions in the residential and commercial sectors across the region. Our systematic and analytical approach delivers solutions for navigating complex real estate markets. Our teams have advised on some of the most high-profile residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments across Egypt.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research, Highest and Best Use Studies, Tenant Mix and Leasing Strategies, and feasibility studies.
  • Supporting business development, liaising with consultants, staying updated on regional real estate trends, and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Undertake research for the identified services and provide meaningful market driven advice.
  • Undertake feasibility and highest and best use studies, risk assessments and financial feasibility.
  • Liaise with sub consultants and other professionals where required to deliver results.
  • Contribute to business development including proposal writing and attending network events.
  • Have an understanding and appreciation of Egypt macro-economics and drivers of development strategies and real estate sector growth.
  • Communicate fully with all stakeholders and colleagues to ensure the delivery of tasks are managed in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Liaise with other internal departments to coordinate inputs for reports. Cross sell opportunities into regional and global teams.
  • Refer business leads or other potential fee earning opportunities into other parts of the regional and global business.
  • Keep abreast of key trends/developments in real estate regionally and globally in order to provide an informed opinion.
  • Build and maintain goodwill, confidentiality, and trust with prospective and existing clients at all times in order to foster the professional image of the Partnership.
  • Requirement to provide high quality, user-friendly and value for money service.
  • Other tasks as required.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Experience in a consultancy capacity within the real estate industry, such as with a developer, investment, or consultancy firm.
  • Understanding of key real estate developments across Egypt and MENA region.
  • Proven experience in one or more of the following areas: real estate strategy/advisory, financial advisory/feasibility, project management, asset management, development recommendations, or market research.
  • An understanding and appreciation of Egypt macro-economics and drivers of development strategies and real estate sector growth.
  • Language skills: Fluency in English and Arabic, written and verbal.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with experience engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends to develop actionable insights.
  • A collaborative and client-focused approach, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel: Flexible attitude towards travelling.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Clear and logical thinker with well-developed report writing skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Strong team player with the ability to build relationships.
  • Ability to take initiative and work proactively.
  • Ability to work through periods of high workload.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules to ensure successful and timely delivery of projects.
  • Understanding of regional business culture and regulations.
  • The ability to understand and make use of computers and information technology (Knight Frank internal systems).
  • Software: Microsoft Office programs to a proficient level. Advanced proficiency in Word and Excel required.
