Construction Superintendent
We’re looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations for a two-building, 100-unit luxury apartment community. This role is all about planning, scheduling, coordinating, and directing site activities to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget—while maintaining top-notch quality and safety.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Lead the charge on-site, managing all construction activities and ensuring work aligns with plans and specifications.
• Supervise crews and equipment, coordinating subcontractors and trade work.
• Keep the project on track, maintaining schedules, solving problems, and ensuring timely inspections.
• Order materials and manage site logistics to keep things running smoothly.
• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and team members.
• Champion safety, enforcing best practices and eliminating hazards.
• Stay organized by maintaining job files, logs, and reports.
• Assist with bid packages, RFPs, and RFIs to support project planning.
• Oversee inspections and coordinate with engineers and local officials.
What You Bring to the Table
• Construction knowledge – You understand specifications, materials, methods, and building codes inside and out.
• Strong leadership – You’re a proactive problem-solver who can manage teams and make confident decisions.
• Technical expertise – You’re comfortable with construction software like Microsoft Project, BuilderTrend, PlanSwift, AutoCAD, or Bluebeam Revu.
• Clear communication – Whether leading meetings or resolving challenges, you get your point across effectively.
What You Need
• Unrestricted Massachusetts CSL (must be active).
• OSHA-10 certification required (OSHA-30 preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in construction management, preferably in multifamily projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering (preferred).
• Hands-on experience managing residential multifamily projects ranging from $1M-$20M.
• Proficiency in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications with confidence.
