Summary

Turner Lovell is partnering with a global pioneer in grid infrastructure to support the delivery of strategic substation projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Our client leads the market with cutting-edge technology in high-voltage energy transmission, powering the drive toward a more reliable and sustainable energy future. To strengthen their on-site leadership, we are recruiting a skilled Site Construction Manager to oversee the execution of high-voltage substation installations.

The Role:

As Site Construction Manager, you will serve as the overall leader on-site for a critical substation project. You will be the main interface with the customer and responsible for ensuring project execution meets safety, quality, cost, and schedule expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full scope of site execution for substation construction projects.
  • Act as the company’s site representative and maintain strong client engagement.
  • Enforce health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) compliance at all times.
  • Establish and manage site procedures, infrastructure, resource planning, and cost controls.
  • Coordinate daily with subcontractors (civil, MEP, electrical, testing & commissioning).
  • Review and validate construction drawings, ensuring execution accuracy.
  • Manage material deliveries, inspections, and site security.
  • Report progress to the client through daily, weekly, and monthly updates.
  • Support development of as-built documentation and handover reports.
  • Provide technical input for tendering and site evaluations when required.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering with registration under the Saudi Council of Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience leading EHV substation construction sites.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple contractors and site logistics.
  • Strong background in safety compliance, budgeting, and project planning.
  • Saudi expertise & Registered in Saudi Council of Engineering
