Job Description

At KIRCO, safety is a core value. We’re seeking an experienced Safety Director to lead our company-wide health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs. This role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, minimizing risk, and fostering a proactive safety culture across all construction sites and business operations.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of safety management experience—preferably within general contracting—and a strong understanding of OSHA standards and construction safety protocols. Responsibilities include developing and implementing HSE programs, conducting site inspections, leading training initiatives, responding to regulatory inquiries, and advising leadership on safety improvements. This role also oversees workers' compensation trends and drives continuous improvement in safety performance.

A degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field is preferred (or equivalent experience), along with excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. Regular job site visits are required.
