Job Title: Construction Quality Control Manager Job Description The Construction Quality Control Manager is responsible for managing and performing daily quality control responsibilities for specific projects to ensure they are constructed in accordance with contract documents. This role includes direct oversight and review of the documentation and physical inspection phases of the workflow process. The manager will collaborate with other in-house personnel, such as Project Managers and Superintendents, as well as external personnel, to produce and document a quality product. Responsibilities * Manage daily quality control responsibilities for specific construction projects. * Ensure projects are constructed in accordance with contract documents. * Oversee and review the entire documentation and physical inspection phase of the workflow process. * Collaborate with in-house and external personnel to produce and document a quality product. Essential Skills * Construction management * Federal construction experience * QCM certification * RMS proficiency * OSHA 30 certification Additional Skills & Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering * 5+ years of experience in Federal construction with a construction-related degree * 10+ years of experience in quality control and construction without a degree * Experience working with USACE, VA, NASA, and NAVFAC Work Environment The role primarily requires work in the field for specific projects. Initially, the candidate will spend a week at the corporate office to meet the management team and learn about the company culture. The position offers competitive benefits, including a monthly per diem check, truck allowance, cell phone allowance, and a 401k match after the first year. Additionally, there is a project bonus per job based on net profit. The headquarters is located in Tallahassee. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $130000.00/yr. Monthly per diem check ($3k+), Truck allowance ($750/month), Cell phone $85/month, 401k match at 4% after first year, Project Bonus per job based on net profit.
