Construction Project Manager - Underground Utilities
Position Overview
We are a CA based company, known for our specialty in wet utilities installation projects. Our team is actively seeking a Construction Project Manager with underground utilities experience to join us in Oakdale. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of projects related to underground utility installations, including sewer, water, and storm drain systems. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and building regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction activities for assigned projects.
- Conduct cost estimation and budgeting for project proposals and ensure adherence to the budget throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks.
- Ensure quality control measures are in place and followed throughout the construction process.
- Supervise site activities and personnel to ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Prepare and present project progress reports to stakeholders and clients.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, particularly in underground utilities.
- Strong knowledge of scheduling, cost estimation, risk management, budgeting, and quality control.
- Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards related to underground utilities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
