Marco's Franchising is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead construction project management efforts for projects via GC sourcing, bid negotiation, GC contracting, construction timelines, building code guidance and design standards enforcement. This candidate will also provide construction support to all franchisees, Area Representatives and company staff as required on construction-related topics; as well as maintaining standards and resources for General Contractors, general construction practices, and procurement partners.

Primary responsibilities of this position include:
* Provide professional expertise to franchisees and area reps on GC bid qualification, cost negotiation, timeline discussions and construction quality expectations.
* Successfully initiate, plan, execute and close all project deliverables as committed.
* Prepare, publish and communicate weekly updates on project progress, including input into the designated software tracking system.
* Supervise general contractors to ensure required qualifications are met and maintained.
* Maintain list of project costs and provide regular updates to development team to manager projected vs actual costs for new store development.
* Strong instruction communication skills to understand sub-trades and jurisdictional requirements.
* Utilizes critical questioning techniques to ask targeted, insightful questions that drive actionable outcomes.
Key Experience Includes:
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
* 5+ years of retail construction management experience in commercial construction as an Owner's Representative or general contractor.
* Proven experience managing ground-up or tenant improvement construction projects.
* Certified in PMP, PE, AIA, LEED or CMAA preferred.
* Proven ability to track overall project budgets and timelines.
Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:
* Travel as necessary.
* Establish remote office environment with suitable working conditions to maintain productivity.
