Summary

Project Manager – Bay Area, CA

We are seeking a driven Project Manager to lead construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role involves coordination with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project success.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full project lifecycle: preconstruction to closeout.
  • Build strong relationships with General Contractors, Owners, Subs, and vendors.
  • Coordinate with Field Operations and Preconstruction teams.
  • Review drawings/specs, generate RFIs, and track revisions.
  • Lead project buyouts, budgets, and subcontract execution.
  • Track procurement, long lead items, and material/labor costs.
  • Monitor and maintain schedule, escalate delays when necessary.
  • Manage labor tracking and accurate cost projections (monthly).
  • Ensure timely documentation: RFIs, submittals, claims, and change orders.
  • Mentor Project Engineers and guide team performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in project management within the construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes and contract types.
  • Strong leadership, delegation, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Procore, Accubid, and PlanGrid.
  • Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel between office and job sites.
