A RAPIDLY growing construction GC in Utah is looking to add a seasoned Project Manager to their growing team in Utah. Their projects consist of ground-up multifamily projects in the 100-200 unit size.

This candidate must have experience with managing buyouts, sub-contract negotiations, and pay apps with multifamily projects.

Are you ready to take the next step in your career? We are looking for a seasoned and dynamic Permanent Construction Project Manager - Multifamily to join our team. This role will put you at the forefront of our construction projects, where you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects from inception to completion. You will be working on a variety of multifamily mixed-use projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities

As a Permanent Construction Project Manager - Multifamily, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to

  • Overseeing all aspects of construction project management for multifamily mixed-use projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Managing the estimating and purchasing processes, ensuring that all materials and services are procured at the best possible cost while meeting project requirements.
  • Leading buyouts and subcontract negotiations, ensuring that all contracts are fair and beneficial to the company.
  • Handling pay applications, ensuring that all payments are made on time and in accordance with contractual agreements.
  • Developing and maintaining the master schedule, ensuring that all project milestones are met and any delays are effectively managed.
  • Negotiating contracts, ensuring that all terms and conditions are in the best interest of the company.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders, ensuring that all project requirements are met and any issues are effectively resolved.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, specifically with multifamily mixed-use projects.
  • Proven experience with estimating and purchasing, demonstrating the ability to procure materials and services at the best possible cost.
  • Strong experience with managing buyouts and subcontract negotiations, showing a track record of securing beneficial contracts.
  • Solid experience with pay applications, demonstrating a thorough understanding of payment processes and contractual agreements.
  • Extensive experience with project management, showing a track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion.
  • Proven experience with contract negotiation, demonstrating the ability to secure terms and conditions that are in the best interest of the company.
  • Strong experience with master schedule development and maintenance, showing the ability to effectively manage project milestones and delays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders.
  • A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
