The selected professional will be responsible for ensuring that the construction of projects is delivered on time, within scope and budget, while maintaining a high standard of quality and safety, and accordingly to the terms defined in the EPC contract. What will you do? * * Construction Planning and Execution: * Develops in detailed construction plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements maintaining adequate documentation. * Oversee the execution of Solar PV/BESS construction, ensuring compliance with design specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards particularly compliant with ERCOT standards and regulations. * Travel to project sites to compare progress to schedule, compare actual versus estimated cost, check compliance with plans and specifications. * Team Leadership: * Lead and motivate Site Supervision teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment. * Foster team camaraderie by mentoring, managing, and motivating the project team. * EPC Contractor: * Act as the primary point of contact with EPC Contractor for interaction, interface, coordination and maintaining strong relationships while enforcing the terms of the EPC contract. * Construction Risk Management: * Identify potential risks in the construction and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful construction delivery. * Implement effective risk management practices to minimize construction disruptions. * Construction Control Management and Reporting: * Monitor construction budgets and financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities. * Channel, follow up and ensure that the invoices generated by the construction of the project are being paid correctly and on time. * Develop, manage and provide updates on schedule on routine basis by coordinating with Headquarters and Project Delivery Manager. * Ensure critical path, long lead items are adequately recorded, and mitigation strategies are in place working alongside with Project Manager. * Ensure that the information for reporting to top management is available, accurate and on time. 6. Quality and Safety Assurance and Compliance: * Implement and maintain quality control measures to meet project specifications and standards. * Ensure that all construction projects adhere to relevant regulations, codes and safety X-Elio guidelines. * Manage the construction of the project closeout process to settle all financial obligations, demobilize all resources, and transition the project to the O&M Department. * Ensure that the Data Room is maintained with the documentation generated by the construction phase of the project. What do we need? * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy, or a related field. * 3-5 years in PV construction projects. * Expertise in utility-scale systems, applicable regulations, and experience with vendor management. * Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work under pressure in field settings with flexible hours. * Flexibility to travel to various project sites.
