Position Responsibilities:
Participate with the Director of Construction in developing budgets for all remodel construction projects.
Review contract documents for accuracy and adherence to concept standards.
Manage bid processes for general contractors, including assembly of bid documents, management of the bid period, analysis of bids, management of the approval process, bid award, and issuance of contracts.
Review construction project plans to understand the scope of the assigned work and identify necessary actions.
Create and maintain short-interval and look-ahead schedules that make sure upcoming events are communicated, tracked, and are being proactively managed.
Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion.
Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed and issue notices of non-compliance to subcontractors in regard to quality of work or scheduling.
Ensure that subcontractor is fully executing and complying with his contracted scope of work and identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.
Verify all work is performed in a professional manner. i.e., plumb, level, square, straight, etc.
Maintain equipment lists within construction department – establish equipment lists, ensure proper ordering, and follow up.
Manage and look ahead no less than three weeks to proactively identify issues that could lead to problems or delays and actively facilitate solutions to these issues.
Obtain all inspections and ensure quality of work is maintained.
Review and approve invoices related to assigned projects.
Travel required (30%).
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of Construction Project Management experience including interior renovation, renovation work in occupied and unoccupied environments, and urban and suburban work locations.
Retail chain project experience preferred.
Strong Microsoft Office Suite experience, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills, documentation, follow-through, written and oral communication skills, initiative, and team orientation.
Effectively prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Takes initiative and works independently as well as within a team environment.

Experience in ProCore.
