Position Overview

You will be responsible for overseeing projects from start to finish as a project manager, making sure they are all finished on schedule and in compliance with agreed-upon standards. You will be in charge of scheduling, budgeting, project organization, and every stage of implementation. Periodic travel is required.

Key Responsibilities

• To guarantee a complete grasp of project details, go over and assess the contract, project scope, and other hand-off paperwork.
• Determine the project's operational goals, align with them, and then rank the tasks in order of importance.
• To guarantee correct comprehension, make sure that any contradicting information in vendor and architectural drawings is clarified.
• Collaborate with the Controller to guarantee adherence to state and municipal business license regulations.
• Following the project's specifications, requisition all labor, tools, and supplies that are required.
• Hold pre-construction meetings to make sure everyone involved is aware of the project's specifications and timeline.
  
  

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree (4 year college or technical school) in Construction Project Management
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management, budgeting, coordinating, and overseeing commercial and/or industrial full turn-key projects
• 3 years' experience working with, writing, and issuing Owner and subcontractor contracts and change orders (from proposal to full execution)
• Experience with taking full responsibility for effectively communicating expectations to the onsite superintendent
• Knowledge of pre-engineered steel building structures
• Good negotiation and presentation skills
• Experience in communicating ideas, winning approval, and reaching resolutions with a variety of audiences
