PROJECT MANAGER

Reports To: Senior Project Manager

Summary of Position:

Accomplish project objectives by planning, evaluating, and reporting project activities. Responsible for all stages of initiatives from proposal and requirement definitions to project planning and implementation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Be able to read construction drawing & blueprints
• Provide guidance and assistance in cost analysis, budgeting
• Review and assess vendor proposals.
• Manage multiple, parallel projects using formal project planning techniques.
• Set up projects in the Viewpoint System.
• Establish fabrication schedules and objectives.
• Coordinate with Contractors
• Communicate progress towards production, financial, quality and safety goals to internal and external stakeholders.
• Negotiate change orders.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships.
• Other Job Functions
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Continuing education through certification programs, training, seminars, etc.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred.
• 10 years of general and 5 years of project management experience in the PEMB, Structural Steel Industry – commercial fabrication experience is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Must have at least 2 years experienced in the construction field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
