Reports To: Director of Construction / Operations Manager

Industry: General Contracting – Commercial, Healthcare, and Industrial Projects

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and manage construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering complex commercial, healthcare, and industrial projects on time and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to oversee project teams, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, and ensure project objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, scheduling, budgeting, and overall management of assigned projects.
  • Coordinate and communicate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Ensure projects are completed in accordance with design, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Proactively identify and manage project risks and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Oversee project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout materials.
  • Conduct regular site visits and project meetings to monitor progress and maintain accountability.
  • Manage and mentor project engineers, assistant project managers, and other team members.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated success managing commercial, healthcare, or industrial projects ranging in size and complexity.
  • Proficiency with project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, etc.).
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of applicable codes, permitting, and industry best practices.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with ground-up and renovation work in occupied healthcare or industrial environments.
  • Familiarity with construction risk management and cost control techniques.
  • LEED certification or experience with sustainable building practices is a plus.
