Construction Experience Skills & Experience Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in building construction, Construction Management, or Engineering
Minimum four (4) years of experience in Federal Construction and/or Design
Minimum six (6) years of field experience in Federal Projects
Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles
Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings
Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs
High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
Ability to lead and communicate effectively
Computer proficiency and use of programs such as Microsoft Excel and Word
Excellent organizational, time management, communication, leadership and decision-making skills
Duties/Responsibilities:
Determine and define the scope of work and deliverables
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and customers on assigned projects to meet schedules
Draft and submit budgets, schedules, plans, and work descriptions
Manage and control costs to meet the budget
Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes
Prepare and present reports on project performance
Work closely with the Project Manager, QC Manager, Safety Manager, and other team members to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget
Coordinate efforts across the project between architects, designers, engineers, subcontractors, and customers
Other duties as required by the President
Able to obtain Federal Base access passes and Security Clearances
Valid driver's license
