Position: 15643 - Construction Project Manager
Location: Hybrid – Rosemead, CA
Responsibilities
Project Planning and Management:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk management strategies.
Coordinate with regional and district managers to align project goals and deliverables.
Oversee the entire project lifecycle from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of project managers, engineers, and construction workers.
Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, ensuring clear communication and effective problem-solving.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities for team members.
Stakeholder Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders.
Maintain strong relationships with regional and district authorities to ensure compliance with local regulations and standards.
Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Budget and Resource Management:
Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and procurement.
Monitor project expenses and implement cost-control measures to prevent budget overruns.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, subcontractors, and other vendors.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all construction activities meet industry standards and project specifications.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations at regional and district levels.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and address potential issues.
Risk Management:
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to address any unforeseen challenges or changes in scope.
Prepare and maintain detailed risk management documentation.
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
Proven experience managing construction projects across multiple regions and districts.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Preferred:
A Master's degree is preferred.
PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
