Position Summary:

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of commercial and industrial construction projects. This role will work closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to ensure efficient project execution from preconstruction through closeout.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction activities
  • Maintain and track project schedules, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and documents for accuracy and consistency
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for timely delivery of materials and equipment
  • Support procurement and contract administration
  • Monitor jobsite progress, maintain daily reports, and support field operations
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation including meeting minutes and punch lists
  • Assist in cost control tracking and project budgeting
  • Promote and enforce site safety practices and procedures
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and resolve issues proactively
  • Support project closeout processes, including turnover documentation and warranty management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • 1–3+ years of construction experience (co-op/internship experience considered)
  • Strong understanding of construction documents and processes
  • Proficiency in construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification a plus
