Summary

A property management and construction client of Insight Global is seeking a proactive Construction Project Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. This role ensures project specifications, budgets, and timelines are met while maintaining quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination: Assist in planning and scheduling activities for smooth project execution. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, change orders, and progress reports.

Quality Control: Ensure compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Budget & Cost Management: Help estimate costs, budget, and track expenses to keep the project within financial constraints.

Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders.

Problem Solving: Identify and address project risks, delays, or challenges.

Site Inspections: Conduct on-site visits to oversee progress and troubleshoot issues.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company safety policies.


Requirements:

• 1-5 years of experience in construction project engineering or a related role.

• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and project management principles.

• Experience in commercial projects.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and building codes.


Nice to have skills and experience:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Procore, Primavera P6, or other construction management software.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) software.
