Job Location: Menlo Park, CA (Onsite)

Job Salary: $120,000 - $160,000

Requirements

  • 5+ years of construction and construction management, including planning, directing, and coordinating activities on construction sites.
  • Ability to read and comprehend construction documents such as plans, specifications, contracts, regulatory requirements, RFIs, and CPM schedules.
  • Demonstrate excellent planning and organizational skills to manage daily construction reports, project meetings, and quality assurance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Able to work onsite full-time in Menlo, Park.

What You Will Be Doing

The construction manager will oversee and ensure the quality and progress of construction projects by performing field inspections, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with project teams. They will identify and mitigate potential hazards, ensuring compliance with approved guidelines and processes. Additionally, they will report deficiencies and keep the Project Manager informed of project status.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform field inspections and quality assurance of construction projects.
  • Provide daily construction reports and maintain up-to-date files of all construction documents.
  • Attend and participate in project meetings to keep the Project Manager apprised of project progress, status, quality, and schedule.
  • Identify and evaluate potential new hazards and implement controls as the project's scope of work changes.
  • Document and report all construction deficiencies to the Project Manager.
