Mechanical Engineering Construction Manager, Plumbing -Dallas, TX
Position Overview
We are a rapidly growing engineering firm seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager with a strong background in Mechanical Engineering and Plumbing. This person will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical systems are installed correctly and meet all regulatory standards while effectively managing project timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that mechanical systems are designed and installed according to specifications.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring effective communication among all stakeholders.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Prepare and present project proposals, progress reports, and final project documentation to stakeholders.
- Resolve any issues that arise during construction, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license prefferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, particularly in mechanical and plumbing systems.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
