Summary

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Construction Project Manager to lead the development of a new industrial manufacturing site. This role requires an individual with a strong background in industrial construction, proven leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex projects from concept through completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of the construction project to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and key stakeholders to define project scope, specifications, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, track expenditures, and ensure the project remains within budget without compromising on quality or safety.
  • Oversee permitting processes and ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Manage the hiring and oversight of general contractors, subcontractors, and skilled trades; assign responsibilities and monitor performance on-site.
  • Efficiently manage labor, materials, and equipment to ensure optimal productivity and minimal downtime.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines; track construction phases and adjust plans to meet critical milestones and deadlines.
  • Identify and resolve project issues proactively, including delays, emergencies, and unforeseen site conditions.
  • Deliver clear and concise project updates, including progress reports, financials, and risk assessments to clients and internal stakeholders.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 5–10 years’ experience in construction project management, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sector
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and compliance regulations
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Primavera, etc.)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • OSHA certification and PMP or similar credentials are a plus
