**Job Title: Construction Laborer**
**Job Description**
As a Construction Laborer, you will construct walls, arches, and other structures using bricks, blocks, or stones. You will apply plaster and caulking to ensure a smooth finish and perform frame carpentry tasks to support masonry work. Additionally, you will finish concrete surfaces for durability and aesthetics, restore existing masonry structures to maintain their integrity, and lay tiles for flooring or wall finishes as required. The role requires effective and safe utilization of hand tools and masonry equipment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Construct walls, arches, and other structures using bricks, blocks, or stones.
+ Apply plaster and caulking to ensure a smooth finish.
+ Perform frame carpentry tasks to support masonry work.
+ Finish concrete surfaces for durability and aesthetics.
+ Restore existing masonry structures to maintain their integrity.
+ Lay tiles for flooring or wall finishes as required.
+ Utilize hand tools and masonry equipment effectively and safely.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in general labor and construction.
+ Proficiency in using power tools and handling concrete.
+ Ability to assist in brick laying and masonry work.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ DBIDS in hand.
+ Valid driver's license.
+ Experience working on a base.

**Work Environment**
Work is conducted outdoors with a schedule of 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norfolk, Virginia.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
