The Construction Estimator is responsible for analyzing project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects. This role involves collaborating with project managers and construction teams to ensure that all costs are accounted for, risks are identified, and budgets are adhered to, leading to successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to gather relevant data for accurate estimating.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers for accurate pricing and sourcing.
• Analyze and assess risks associated with cost estimates and project execution.
• Prepare detailed budgets and timelines, ensuring alignment with project objectives and stakeholder expectations.
• Monitor ongoing project costs and provide updates to management regarding budget performance.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong skills in budgeting, project management, and risk analysis.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
