Job Description

Whitson Plumbing and Electric, a subsidiary of Clear Cloud Solutions Inc., is a well-established and growing Plumbing, Electric, and Construction company headquartered in Willow Creek, California. We specialize in the commercial, industrial, and government sectors.

We seek a dedicated individual with Construction, Plumbing, Electrical, and/or relevant contracting experience to serve as a Construction Estimator for our Willow Creek, CA location. This will be a fast-paced job with tremendous growth potential. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry, with knowledge of both plumbing and electric.

Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for Construction, Plumbing, and Electrical projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project goals and timelines.
• Analyze project requirements and determine the most cost-effective methods and materials to use.
• Prepare detailed take-offs and quantity surveys for various construction trades.
• Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive database of historical cost information for future reference.
• Understanding scopes of work, assisting in occasional site visits to assess project requirements and conditions, measuring/taking off and gathering data on buildings, and meeting subcontractors.
• Prepare and submit accurate and timely cost estimates to clients utilizing various quoting tools.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure estimates align with project objectives and constraints.
• Assist in providing discovery on RFPs and RFQs and submitting RFIs.
• Provide Superior Customer Experience in all tasks, internally and externally.
• Attend online and in-person vendor training courses to accumulate industry and product knowledge.
• Handling multiple assignments at once and having the ability to prioritize different tasks for various projects
  
  

Required:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word.
• Able to pass a federal background check.
• Valid Driver's License (Required)

Preferred:

• Plumbing and/or Electrical Construction experience.
• Associate's degree in construction management, Business, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of working experience in a similar type of position.
