BBSI has partnered with a prestigious General Contractor based in Sherman Oaks. We are looking for a detail-oriented Construction Estimator with a passion for luxury home building. Our commitment to excellence and craftsmanship has made us a leader in the industry. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our dynamic and talented team.

What You’ll Do

As our Estimator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our projects are executed with precision and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:

• Budget Preparation – Analyze plans, specifications, and site requirements to develop accurate cost estimates.
• Subcontractor Evaluation – Review and assess subcontractor estimates, ensuring alignment with project scope and pricing.
• Internal Estimating – Cross-check subcontractor bids by preparing independent estimates based on experience and market knowledge.
• Cost Analysis – Identify and resolve cost discrepancies through research and data collection.
• Bid Development – Prepare and present competitive project bids and proposals.
• Regulatory Compliance – Navigate building codes and stay informed on industry regulations and safety standards.
• Site Involvement – Visit job sites as needed to ensure estimates align with real-world conditions.

What We’re Looking For

To excel in this role, you should have:

✅ 10+ years of estimating experience, with at least 5 years in high-end custom homes

✅ Strong ability to interpret and analyze blueprints, specifications, and project plans

✅ Expertise in construction cost analysis and bid development

✅ Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously

✅ Impeccable attention to detail and problem-solving skills

✅ Strong communication skills—both written and verbal

✅ Proficiency in MS Excel and other estimating software
