Strong analytical skills to identify issues, optimize configurations, and improve security; Excellent communication skills to produce clear reports and collaborate with various teams within the organization; Proven Server Administration skills; Proven Second-Level Helpdesk Capabilities; In-depth knowledge of configuration management practices, including tools and methodologies for controlling software and hardware inventory; Advanced skills in managing and maintaining network devices and systems. Understanding of VLANs, subnets, and network topologies; Familiarity with tools like ManageEngine Service Desk or other IT management software for monitoring and inventorying software and hardware; Knowledge of best IT security practices and industry standards, including optimizing security settings; Ability to collect, organize, and present technical data through structured and easily comprehensible reports; Skills in cataloguing devices and systems and producing detailed technical documentation. Desirable: Ability to efficiently and proactively solve complex problems; Precision and accuracy in managing technical data and configurations; Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and provide support and training to other team members; Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Duties/role: Inventorying software for workstations/users and servers; Surveying existing network devices and systems, cataloging them, and producing a document with the results to be integrated into the configuration management overall document; Rationalizing existing lists (accounts, software, etc.) with organized cataloging and dividing them by user profiles; Inventorying which includes information on physical and logical location (VLAN membership, subnet, etc.); Optimizing ManageEngine Service Desk: For software and hardware inventory, including the ability to create custom reporting tools; Optimizing Security settings on on-prem and on-cloud services; Checking and updating group policies; Cleaning up expired Users.
