Summary

Job Description: Telespazio is a joint venture between Leonardo (67%) and Thales (33%) and one of the world’s biggest suppliers of satellite solutions and services. The company teams up with Thales Alenia Space to form the parent companies’ Space Alliance, a strategic partnership which offers a complete range of space services. Founded in Italy in 1961, Telespazio is based in Rome and counts more than 3000 employees through its various subsidiaries and joint ventures. We are looking for a Configuration Manager. Activities: The resource will deal with the following activities: Define the product/service Tree with the RT/RO, providing the rules for the identification, the classification and the codification of the related configuration items for the HW, SW and documental components Assure that the product/service requirements be correctly mapped on the Tree, providing the appropriate feedback to the RT/RO Define and make available to process stakeholders the appropriate ICT structure to facilitate the integrated management of the product/service and project documentation as well as the HW and SW product/service components, their control and evolution Prepare the CADM plans for all /product/service/project phases Execute the tasks included in the relevant CADM Plan concerning the Configuration Identification, Documentation and Data Management, Configuration Change Control, Configuration Status Accounting, Configuration Audit processes (both physical and functional) Manage the Suppliers concerning the CADM activities Assign the Part Number to the active contracts Telespazio product/service in accordance with the internal codification standard Contribute to the preparation of the commercial proposals with regard to the description of the activities of competence; Assure the transactional addressing for Configuration Management to all the Telespazio controlled companies Degree: Degree in Electronic Engineering /Informatics/Telecommunications Seniority: Junior, 1-3 years of experience Hard skills: Configuration Management (preferable) ICT Systems utilization and knowledge (mandatory) System Engineering (mandatory) Quality standards and models (preferable) Project Management (mandatory) Experience in Management ICT System utilization in logistic/operational application Experience in project management and related processes (e. g. planning, coordination, scheduling, etc.) Experience in system engineering and equipment testing Soft skills: Planning, control and economic sensitivity Team working Problem solving Execution effectiveness and continuity Technical-professional knowledge and updating Leadership Language knowledge: English (mandatory) IT tools: Microsoft Office Sharepoint Doors Seniority: Junior Primary Location: IT - Roma - Via Tiburtina, 965 Contract Type: Permanent Hybrid Working: Hybrid
