Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Configuration Management Specialist to join the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) team.

As a Configuration Management Specialist Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine the effect on the overall product and system
  • Coordinating modification records for management control
  • Establish change orders and preparing change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor personnel
  • Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with Engineering, Quality, Support, Manufacturing, and engineering data control activities
  • Manage Contract Deliverable Requirement List (CDRL) schedules, deliveries and verification in accordance with contract requirements and schedules
  • Lead the review and retention of supplier data
  • Manage configuration of supplier Statement of Work (SOW)/SDRL
  • Coordinate, track, conduct, and manage action items for technical and programmatic decisional boards

  • Experience facilitating change boards or multi-discipline reviews
  • Experience developing processes and collaborating with internal and external management or customers
  • Demonstrated behaviors of a systems problem solver; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change
  • Program planning for Systems Engineering and Configuration and Data Management
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with Data Management: scheduling, tracking, and submitting data and working with data repositories
  • Experience tracking, managing, and delivering CDRL's
  • SharePoint or other workgroup collaboration tools
  • Drafting and/or CAD exposure and/or training to facilitate drawing and model review
  • Experience leading multi-functional teams to communicate and coordinate work as one team with common goals
  • Contract and/or subcontract management experience
  • Strong understand of technical baseline management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Active or Current DoD Secret or above security clearance

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $73,800 - $130,180. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
