Location: On-site in Westminster, CO

Type: Contract-to-Hire

Clearance Required: Active Top Secret (TS), with the ability to obtain TS/SCI

Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required

LHH has partnered with our client in the Denver metro area to identify a skilled Configuration Management Specialist II for an on-site, contract-to-hire opportunity supporting classified programs in the defense and aerospace space.

This position plays a key role in supporting the organization’s configuration and data management (C&DM) function across multiple high-impact projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, experience with technical data tracking and engineering change processes, and the ability to support internal teams through structured CDM tools and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide configuration and data management support across multiple programs
  • Facilitate change control board meetings and coordinate engineering documentation reviews
  • Maintain configuration records using Agile PLM and SharePoint
  • Process and release engineering change orders (ECOs)
  • Track and manage contract data deliverables (CDRLs/SDRLs), including forecasting and reconciliation with customers and suppliers
  • Prepare documentation and transmittals to ensure timely and accurate data delivery
  • Support engineering and program teams with database tools and processes
  • Serve as a first point of contact for CDM process implementation and guidance
  • Contribute to technical meetings and cross-functional collaboration efforts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of configuration/data management experience (additional experience may substitute for education)
  • Active Top Secret clearance required, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI
  • Strong understanding of configuration management principles and engineering data handling
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and the ability to quickly learn new database systems
  • Experience working with Agile PLM and/or SharePoint is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams

Work Environment:

This is a fully on-site role requiring in-person attendance Monday through Friday in Westminster, CO. The work environment may include office, lab, cleanroom, or production settings.
