Job Description

As a Configuration Engineer - Radio, you will be involved in the Shift operations to handle customer network configuration requirement and be responsible to plan/schedule/validate & execute the changes, collaborating with multiple stakeholders across domains/teams.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

  • Change Request handling (via tools like ITSM/BMC Remedy etc.)
  • Plan, prepare & implement Configuration/Optimization related network changes as required.
  • Understand complex network design/solutions comprising multi-vendor equipment (like Nokia/Ericsson/ Samsung/Huawei)
  • Remote Troubleshooting, Fault localization and Remote Resolution.
  • Contribute towards achieving & maintaining key performance metrics (KPI / SLA / OLA)
  • Perform planned preventive/proactive maintenance and/or fault-fixing changes as required, adhering to the set process/guidelines.
  • Rehoming / Decommissioning / Hardware / software parameter changes / upgrades.
  • Contribute towards building Knowledge base & Continuous Improvement.

Key Skills And Experience

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in ECE/EEE/IT with good communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Overall, 3-5 years of Configuration Management experience in RAN telecom networks.
  • Minimum 2 years of multivendor experience (like Nokia + Ericsson / Nokia + Samsung / Ericsson + Samsung) – 3G/4G/5G.
  • Knowledge in Fault Management, Network Integration, SW Upgrade activities is added advantage.

It would be nice if you also have:

  • Aptitude to learn & develop new skills in complex technologies and drive innovation.
  • Certifications like CCNA / ITIL
