Job Details:

• Location: Various in Calgary, AB, T2A 6L9
• Salary: $30.00 to 40.00 hourly (to be negotiated), 40 to 44 hours per week, some weekend work required
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time seasonal
• Start Date: As soon as possible

Education and Experience:

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• Languages: English
• Experience: Concrete: 1 year (preferred) carpenter: 1 year (preferred)

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Build and lay out forms according to specifications, including making calculations based on grades
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
• Operate power trowels, screeds, and other equipment; fill forms with material and compact using tampers or compactors
• Install steel brackets and tie rebar
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Proven experience as a form setter or similar role. Carpenter Skills transferable
• Proficiency in operating hand and power tools
• Ability to interpret blueprints and follow specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
• Customer-focused
• Valid working permit
